Mental Literacy Training Pte Ltd (MLT) PROFILE The Company MLT was formed in Singapore 2012 by Ms. Li Xiao Ru and Mr. Christopher John Hedger. Originally concentrating on Middle Brain Activation for Kids, due to demands from numerous satisfied parents, our profile has since been increased to include Super Memory courses for Adults and Children. To date we have activated countless children’s Middle Brains in Singapore, Malaysia (Johor Bahru and Langkawi), Philippines (Manila) and China. Through our Super Memory courses we have dramatically improved the memory retention skills of numerous children and adult students and business meeting presenters. People of all ages and from all walks of life in; Singapore, Malaysia, Philippines and China. Director of Training Formerly heading up a charity fund-raiser The Helping Hand Group for 5 x years, auctioning memorabilia throughout Asia at major charity dinners and functions before teaching for “Money Tree” (in-school training for children to understand and handle finance) Ms. Li Xiao Ru, a Singaporean, underwent intensive course workshop training, on-job training and full-time Middle Brain Activation teaching prior to forming MLT. Her unique and riveting teaching style together with her natural affinity with children has led to phenomenal success activating children’s Middle Brains. Further intensive training has perfected her methods and competence in teaching Super Memory workshops. Many adults and children have Ms. Li to thank for their greatly improved memory retention skills. Ms. Li visited China in 2015 where the “24th World Memory Championships” were held. The event was hosted and sponsored by International author; lecturer and founder of “Mind Mapping”, Mr. Tony Buzan. Ms. Li acted as co-ordinator and on-stage translator for Mr. Buzan. Ms. Li sat on the TTM International organising committee for the 25th Silver Jubilee World Memory Championships held in Singapore from 14 to 18 Dec 2016. (and a national competition also held in Singapore from 3-12 September 2016). School Principal Mr. Christopher John Hedger is British and a qualified English teacher and former businessman. He has taught locally in Hong Kong, Malaysia and Singapore and has been a resident in Asia for over 20 years. Mr. Hedger keeps up to date with all developments in this revolutionary field of education and advises Ms. Li on modern teaching methods and advancements. Singapore Workshops Since 2012 MLT have had major successes with workshops throughout Singapore. Group workshops in facilities based in; Chuangxin Education Centre Balmoral Plaza, A Tick for That Tuition Centre Kovan City and Colour Face Academy Lavender have proved well subscribed and hugely effective. Workshops held in Child Day Care Centres; Brilliant Student Care Jurong West and Out of the Box Bukit Timah have been extremely popular and fulfilling for both kids and parents. In particular Brilliant Student Care where MLT conducted a FREE “Brain Gym” in the local play area prior to workshop registration. This was most enjoyable for the children (and the carers) and the fun they had induced many kids to sign up for the workshop immediately (subject to convincing Mum and Dad). MLT have also conducted FREE “Brain Gyms” at Out of the Box Parents Orientation Day and for the children of the company staff at a commercial base Karz Enterprise. This type of presentation has been enormously popular with all attendees. MLT Super Memory Courses in Singapore have been overwhelmed with, in particular, young working adults and retirees. Young working adults find memory enhancement extremely helpful with their workplace presentation skills, while retirees find that sharpening the memory helps to delay the likes of dementia and other elderly fears…..However, middle-aged adults will also find many benefits by improving their memory retention skills. Overseas Workshops Ms. Li and Mr. Hedger conduct MLT workshops in Johor Bahru, Malaysia. MLT began the project in May 2013 and to date have successfully activated the middle brains of over 500 children. In June 2014 Ms. Li and Mr. Hedger conducted a series of workshops in Manila, Philippines for some 30 children and ran numerous teacher- training sessions (both on and off the job training) for 12 local Philippine associates. The Philippine teachers now run their own courses in Manila under the guidance of MLT. In 2015 the Philippine local teachers visited MLT in Singapore for advanced training in Super Memory courses for children and adults. In 2015 MLT taught a series of “Middle Brain Activation for Kids” workshops for Happy Kids Playhouse Child Day Care Centre Langkawi Malaysia. This project showed unparalleled results with many extremely bright and well-mannered children 4-8 years of age passing all tests and having lots and lots of fun. In 2016 MLT were invited to conduct workshops for Middle Brain Activation for Children and Super Memory for Adults and Children in Changsha, China in association with local Chinese teachers. The visit includes off and on-job training by MLT in both disciplines (Middle Brain Activation and Super Memory) for local educators and potential teachers At MLT We never stop Learning and Progressing……………………………… |
